Easy Garland...and it was FREE!
This weekend, we had a family-togetherness-kind-of-weekend. Lots of cuddling. Lots of down time. And, of course, a trip to Target and the grocery store.
When we got to our local Whole Foods market, I was excited to find that they were giving away trimmings from the Christmas trees they were selling. Free! Wahoo!
We grabbed some freshly cut trimmings and headed home, my kids thinking that I was slightly nutty for bringing stray branches home.
My daughter and I found some floral indoor-outdoor ribbon we already had and voila!
Garland! Ooooh, and it smells so good.
We just tied it to the railing with some indoor-outdoor red velveteen ribbon I had.
We layered it, so that you can't see the cut ends of the branches.
And then we played football in the yard.
Thanks for stopping by!
